Bug is 7 nearly 8 he has many problems but he nearly always has a smile on his face. He was born at 38 weeks all due to a mix up on the dates at our local hospital. He was born a healthy weight 8lb 4 and a half oz. All was good till he was 18 months old them he got ill. It all started with servere diarrhoea, poor height and weight gain next thing i know they relised he had low iron levels and low immune systems. So this meant a referal to our local childrens hospital which is fantastic. After alot off testing and alot off hit and misses they resorted to there last attempt to help him with his weight as it was getting worse and he couldn't maintain weight so that meant ng tube then 2 years after that the mic-key button.
He also has developmental verbal dyspraxia this means he has had to work so hard to talk and its only the last 6 months that he has been able to talk properly before this he was using makaton and still uses this.
He also has autistic tendencies but we are learning more and more about it each day.
